Alex Brecher 10,515 Posted March 13, 2013 One of our members posted one of these vids recently. I'm going to post the entire series here. I feel they're a must watch for anyone considering or living with the Lap-Band! flrosie 154 Posted March 16, 2013 Wow! That is the most interesting and most thorough information I've had to date. I took lots of notes that I will be taking to my pre-op appt Monday to discuss with my surgeon. The first time I met with him he asked me, "Do you have any questions?" Of course, so new in the process I didn't know what I didn't know. Now I do. With the help of this site and all its wonderful members, and sharing videos such as this, I feel I am so much more prepared. I understand now it's not about restriction, which I (and millions of others, I'm sure) thought that was the point. How interesting! Thanks for posting this. I may not have found it on my own. 3 days to bandyland 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this
The B 96 Posted March 16, 2013 This is great thank you so much for posting this, i had a good idea of how it worked but this is really educational. I also liked that it explained why or why not to do certain things it really helped to clarify things for me personally! Thanks again..! 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this
Ladybandito 516 Posted March 17, 2013 Thank you for posting these links, Alex. I had seen a couple of them, but didn't bookmark them ... It's great to have the links in one spot where we can find them. EVERYONE should watch these. Great information presented in a way that's easy to understand. Thank you again. 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this
brianb 81 Posted March 18, 2013 Great post. As a newbie myself, this was so helpful. I know it's posted many times on the forums, but it's easy to miss. I believe this should be part of our education pre-op as I can tell by reading posts on this forum that many people are as in the dark as I was about how the band really works. That concerns me and I think it's probably dangerous. 1 Alex Brecher reacted to this

parisshel 1,892 Posted March 28, 2013 Very good set of videos, well-presented and thorough. What surprises me is how different the Australian meal protocol is from my experience in France. He is very adamant about the three small meals or less; my surgeon is equally adamant about three smalls meals and 3 Snacks required per day...even if not hungry. (A snack is a bit of cheese or a couple of spoonfuls of applesauce.) Thanks for putting these up! 1 flrosie reacted to this

TheProfessor 378 Posted November 7, 2014 Amazing information! This is SO GREAT for a newbie like me. I have watched a ton of videos on youtube, but all of them are personal stories, journeys, etc. This was so clear and helpful. Thank you, Alex! I am now going to try and find Oyster Forks!
