One hand roll is usually suffice, sushi train I can around 3 plates of 2 pieces per plate, provided I have a decent break in between

I can no longer tolerate the rice.....

Nothing to do with calories.....(I don't count calories). It is just not band- friendly for me......besides, what's the nutritional value in rice?

I love sushi!!! lol. I actually ate it alot post surgery, up until this week. LOL. I found brown rice california rolls that were 160 calories for 6 pieces. However, for first time I got stuck on it this week. I'm sure it was because my bite size was too large. I will try it again next week.

I've eaten sushi, but certainly can bot eat much... Maybe two slices and you really have to chew very very well. I think it's OK for a special treat but not good enough for a meal. I've switched to sashimi with no rice and seaweed salad.< /p>

I am quite satisfied with the sashimi appetizer (8 pieces) which I cut into smaller pieces, seaweed salad and miso Soup. I used to eat the sushi-sashimi delux plate with Soup and salad when I was pre-op. I cannot do that anymore, and do not miss it at all.

I switched mostly to shahsmi. However, I can have some sushi. Normally, rice doesn't agree with me, but with sushi it's fine- the seaweed is more of a problem than the rice. Wrapped in cucumber works better for me. Try it at home first. That's what I did. Then I knew I was safe to try in a restaurant.

I had some last night at the casino. I just unroll it and eat the insides. Didnt want the rice and dont like the seaweed wrap. Works well for me that way. :)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
