Sandra V 8 Posted March 13, 2013 So after researching LB for almost 10 years, i finally had the balls to get the process going. I looked into True Results because I was advised my coverage didn't cover bariatric surgery but they told me due to my hiatal hernia I would be covered for all but a $5500 out of pocket charge that would be split into 2 year payments. So.... I just got a few letters from my insurance and apparently I owe almost $30K WHAT!?
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 13, 2013 Don't worry about your insurance company, only what True Results sends you. The cash price is usually considerably cheaper than the insurance price, so the bill you get from True Results won't be anything like the statement you get from your insurance company. 3 Terry Poperszky, 2muchfun and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Sandra V 8 Posted March 14, 2013 True Results doesn't send me anything, they just auto deduct the monthly payment from my checking account. I'm just concerned because the letters from my insurance company say I'm responsible for all this money that they aren't paying the place the surgery was done at. I have an appointment for an adjustment next week so I guess I will get some answers then.

I was banded 3 months ago and I got an actual bill For $2000 for anesthesia and the letter from the insurance. 2 weeks and I still don't have an answer from them, specially about the bill.
