Kace06 25 Posted March 12, 2013 So I'm almost a month out, had my first fill last Wednesday and I'm not losing!!! Eating exactly what they told me to eat. What am I doing wrong?!?!
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 12, 2013 You're not necessarily doing anything wrong. You're only a month post op. The first 4-6 weeks are for healing, not losing. Your body has been through a lot and needs time to heal and adjust. If you're counting calories and measuring your portions, the weight loss will come, just be patient. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and 2muchfun reacted to this

laurigee 545 Posted March 12, 2013 If your eating exactly what your suppose to eat why do you think your doing something wrong? Your only a month into the process! Most of us will tell you that is exactly what we experienced! No two people are the same. Don't compare your results to others. Keep doing what your told and follow the rules and you will see results! Patience is very important!!!! The band is definitely not a quick fix! Stay positive and be patient these are words you will learn to live by! Your not doing anything wrong! 2 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Kace06 25 Posted March 12, 2013 Thank you! I guess I just get frustrated! I am doing exactly what I'm told and logging it on my fitness pal too, also just started doing couch to 5K. I'll try to be more patient! Thanks for the help!
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted March 12, 2013 so if the scale is not showing a (loss) and you immediately think you are not losing? why is that?? i would like to beg to differ....are your clothes (any) of them looser? do you feel better? are you able to get around better?? have you noticed you look (smaller)?? to me losing inches is a sure sign of losing weight......the scale goes up and down all day long....and what tells the truth is inches lost. .....continue doing exactly what your doctor advised you..eat your allotted amounts, drink alot, exercise and remain patient....you have come this far...give yourself a chance to let the band do its thing. you will get there, promise. and i bet you are doing FANTASTIC.. 2 m1aman and Bella9903 reacted to this

laurigee 545 Posted March 12, 2013 Yep!!! I'll take loose pants any day over what the scale reflects! I think it's more frustrating when your scale says you lost weight and the pants tell you a different story! Yeh!!! Your losing!!! Good work! 2 Kace06 and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
treysee26 2 Posted March 12, 2013 I can totally relate!!! I was banded in January, and did great the first few weeks, and then suddenly it slowed down, or pretty much stopped, and I have been the same weight for the last few weeks. I am putting so much effort into this, and I am getting frustrated that the results arent what I had hoped. But on the flip side, I feel better than I have in years, and this is the most motivated i have ever been to see this through! I know this is a journey, and I need to be patient. Its good to know this is part of the process and Im not alone in experiencing this! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Kace06 25 Posted March 12, 2013 You're not alone!!! I feel great too but, not seeing the scale reflect all my hard work is kind of a bummer! I love my lose pants but I would also love to be well on my way to my goal! We have to keep that motivation up and keep doing our best! I'm sure we can also succeed at this!!! If you need help let me know! We can keep each other motivated! 1 treysee26 reacted to this
