Maddy1 55 Posted October 6, 2013 I am also starting over. So far, successfully this time. I started a blog on here by that name "starting over". I thought if I could honestly talk about what I was experiencing, maybe that would help me. Everyone who has responded to me has been supportive. I think we can start over. That we have the desire to is so important. We are not failures, we just took a Detour and can get back on track.

songtress 5 Posted October 13, 2013 I have decided that a Do Over is what I need and will be getting in touch with my doctor very soon. Lately I've been having problems with reflux really bad and just not listening to my band, I found ways to eat all the things we suppose to resist making my weight loss unsuccessful. I was banded in June 08 I was focused and lost close to 40lbs EXCITED!!! butttt that soon changed and now I have gained most to all my weight back. So it's time to get started with loving me again taking this journey I signed up for back!!! Good luck to us all  1 monkeysnana reacted to this

JimmyXXL 7 Posted November 11, 2013 I was banded about 21/2 years ago. I lost 100lbs, I began having horrible reflux problems and my doctor emptied my band. The reflux problems went away but I have gained 45lbs in the last 5 months. I am devastated trying to get back on track. I would love to be part of the support group as well. I need the support to get back on track. Also I saw someone reference My Fitness Pal, can that be used to share among support friends to help stay on track? Good luck to all , I know i can do this. But I am going to need your help J
txdiva 13 Posted November 11, 2013 JimmyXXL I know what you mean. I had Fluid removed several months ago and it set me back too. I have been struggling with getting back on track for a while now and have been looking for support as well. I haven't used my fitness pal in a while but need to start again so I can see exactly how much I am eating. My username on my fitness pal is Lisa9258 if you want to add me as a friend. Songstress It is so easy to eat around the band. Every time I do it I feel terrible and wonder why I keep doing this to myself. Let's all support each other. 1 JimmyXXL reacted to this
