PhotoNut 7 Posted April 21, 2006 I'm not sure if someone here told me about this site, or if I found it on my own. Anyway, it was worth sharing. I've got it on my Favorites list now, along with www.nutritiondata.com.

PhotoNut 7 Posted April 22, 2006 You're welcome, Carol. Paula - I know!! I went to Chili's with a friend yesterday and after a long and painful process of decision making I decided to have my old favorite, the Crispy chicken salad. It arrived. It was HUGE! And I ended up picking off the crunchy outside of the fried chicken strips, which is what I used to love about the dish. I ate a very tiny bit of it and took the rest with me in a box. I was out all day taking pictures so it all went bad. And boy am I glad! I looked it up and that innocent looking salad has 850 calories!!! OMG! I docked myself 500 calories for what I ate, just to teach myself a lesson! *laughs*

I've done this at several different restaurants and they have no problem with it. I haven't had it since banding though. Audra
PhotoNut 7 Posted April 23, 2006 Audra, I should have done that but I was after that fried chicken! LOL! The thing is, I ended up peeling most of that off of the chicken anyway. It just doesn't hold the same appeal for me that it used to. My friend got the Carribean Chicken salad - grilled chicken and it was half the calories! So yup, grilled would have been better. Good think I could only eat about 1/8th of that huh?
