I've never tried the rubber bands but my wife threatened to kick my @ss.

As it turns out that's the motivation I needed. ;):D :D

But drink Water you must or it's all for not.

My head says "drink Water or you will not lose weight!"

Weather that's true or not it doesn't matter as long as I believe it.

I had heard of the rubber band thing but have not tried it...Kudo's to your wife Shaz for threatening to kick your a$$! :)

i just have about 3 Water bottles (that hold 36 oz)

i know i need to drink alot and so i drink 3+ those per day

regardless........i found a drink flavor for my Water that i like

and just do it...as i know it (helps) my progress.

never heard of the rubber band thing either.

I have an app on my phone called, "Drink Water". You tell the app how many glasses of Water you want to drink per day and the hours that you want to drink, like between 7 AM and 11 PM. The app reminds me throughout the day to drink. When I finish my 8 glasses, it cheers and applauds me.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
