blondegal_ 1,028 Posted March 9, 2013 Try measuring your food every chance you get. You'll learn portion sizes that way. I went through a buffet the other day. Then actually measured my food and had 1/2 cup of diced chicken, 1/4 cup rice and 1/4 cup of mixed veggies. I'm getting so much better at judging. You will too. 1 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 9, 2013 You definitely don't want to eat until you're full, in fact if you've eating until you're full you're likely eating too much. You should be eating until you're satisfied or no longer hungry. Have a look at the link in my signature, I think it will help. Unfortunately you can't measure a cup in bites, it's just not accurate or consistent. The only way you can be sure you're eating a cup of food is to measure it.
