Can we eat oranges with the band?

I am afraid of the membrane. I eat Mandarin oranges from the jar almost every night. I love them. I was told you can't have the membrane or grape skin. Ask your dietitian for advice.

Good luck.

I love oranges but I do sometimes find myself pulling the membrane off. Try doing that untill you get comfortable.

Yes we can eat oranges with the band. We can eat ANY food with the band. Some people have trouble eating some foods and therefore choose not to eat them.

I keep my band looser that most on this sight and I have no problems eating foods. Some foods take a little more care to eat than others. By care I mean smaller bits and chewing a lot more. I enjoy oranges, in fact I had one with my lunch today.

Enjoy.

AJ is correct. I have trouble with oranges and usually do better with Cuties if they are fresh and juicy, I can eat maybe 3-4 sections before I feel full. You will only know what you can eat by trial and error we are all so different.

I can't eat them because they don't go down so I drink orange juice instead. Gotta have my Vitamin C.< /p>

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
