bubbs 15 Posted March 2, 2013 I'm such an idiot tonight I've eaten way too much I'm 5 weeks after my op and don't feel like I've been banded much now as my hunger is back and can eat anything! Trouble is I stupidly ate tooo much tonight and now I'm in pain its not stuck but my belly feels massive and bloated and hurts its been like this for 3 hrs and I even tried to make myself sick to relief it but nothing is coming up at all?! Any suggestions as this is awful and has taught me massive lesson before everyone tells me what an idiot I am
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 3, 2013 Don't make yourself sick, vomiting will only cause more problems and can potentially cause a slip. Unfortunately you're going to just have to wait for the food to digest and pass. Just look at this as a learning experience. You've learned first hand why we often say "just because you can eat something doesn't mean you should". You ate too much and you now know why it's so important to stick to band sized portions. Hang in there. 5 dylanmiles23, ☠carolinagirl☠, Jackie07 and 2 others reacted to this
dylanmiles23 2,198 Posted March 3, 2013 Go for a walk. Go to a large mall or store and walk for a while. When I had a few stuck moments, I walked until I felt better, usually 15 minutes. Good luck. The band does not let you go crazy when eating. It hurts and reminds us of small portions. Feel better. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

I agree go walk. It helps. 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and 2muchfun reacted to this

It's midnight where I am so might got for walk round the house thanks I hope I've not stretched my pouch doing this!! Maybe few days of liquids? It's highly unlikely one bad day is going to stretch your pouch. Plus, liquids will just leave you feeling weak and hungry, making another binge day way too tempting. If I were you, I would just go back to eating the way you know you should. Really, you didn't do anything *that* bad. You're human, you made a human mistake. If anyone claims to never mess up they're lying. It's midnight there so it's a new day. A fresh start 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and 2muchfun reacted to this
bubbs 15 Posted March 3, 2013 Your right thanks I just read on few other threads people recommending going on liquids when they have over eaten but your right will probably trigger a binge mode with me especially when my hunger has returned!! Eurgh Im never doing that again! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Frederic 500 Posted March 3, 2013 You can also try massaging your lower abdomen. Just gently apply pressure below your belly button don't push or squeeze though. Hopefully it will help get your digestive tract going. 1 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
hely88 883 Posted March 3, 2013 I still to this day have to measure my food or I will eat too much. Make sure you measure what you are supposed to eat and then stop. 3 Jackie07, ☠carolinagirl☠ and DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
