DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 1, 2013 It doesn't matter what you desire to eat. What matters is that you stick to the post op diet your surgeon gave you. I highly doubt that you're supposed to already be eating solid foods. What post op diet phase are you supposed to be on? 1 kazjim98 reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 1, 2013 Full liquids Then you have no business even trying solid foods. You need to stick to your doctor's diet. Your stomach has been sutured and needs time to heal. By not following your doctor's diet, especially jumping to solid foods when you're supposed to be on liquids, you're risking serious damage to your stomach as well as causing your new band to slip. Stick to the post op diet.

Leslie80 14 Posted March 1, 2013 Full liquids I also was banded the 19. I'm supposed 2b on liquids but sometimes I eat regular food. I chew it real well. I kno I'm not supposed to, but I need energy to deal w my children. So far so good. from time to time, i get pain where my port is. I was supposed 2 go back to work money, but I can't. Im taking another week off. I apply ice to where my port is. It helps a lot.
