dylanmiles23 2,198 Posted February 28, 2013 I use chewable vitamins. I have the Bariatric Advantage brand from the doctor's office or you can get them on line. Today I was told I need more Vitamin D, the one I take doesn't have enough in them. Ask your dietitian what you need. She was the one who gave me the list. Good luck. Bring a magazine. DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted February 28, 2013 Everything you need for your first week of post op diet. I'd just take your food list to the store with you. Start trying different Protein shakes to find one you like now, otherwise you may be stuck with a yucky one after surgery. 1 Molly40.P reacted to this
SaraWalk 30 Posted March 3, 2013 i got chewable Centrum, they are orange and horrible! My nutritionist said for her lapband patience you dont have to take liquid. She said she would even be happy with 2 Flinstones a day plus Calcium and Iron either chewable or crushed prior to consuming. The Vitamins are gonna vary based on what ur pre testing shows u might need. Ive read all over the place that gas-x strips are very helpful. So i went and picked some up today as well as a heating pad for after surgery! I also read that people had wished they had brought a bottle of Water for after surgery car ride. Good luck! 1 Molly40.P reacted to this
