waterlily1072 5 Posted April 20, 2006 Will I ever be able to eat food like everyone else here seems to? How do you get your calories in? Especially if you are doing lowfat stuff. I am struggling just to get in 500 calories. Some of you talk about eating 1000 per day. I thought we were supposed to eat 3 meals a day and a planned snack. If we are only supposed to be able to eat a cup full of food at a time how is it possible to get all the calories in? Seems to me I'll barely be able to get the Protein in. Maybe with solid food it is easier to get the calories.
DonnaB 3 Posted April 20, 2006 Definitely easier when you move on to mushies and solids. In fact, I get in about 1,300 calories a day and as much as 1,800 if I'm not careful. As far as the Protein goes, are you drinking Isopure? It's a great source of protein - 40 grams in a 20 oz serving - and no carbs. Good luck.
HeatherGurl 0 Posted April 20, 2006 I don't do low fat stuff... too much sugars in it. I do low carb and no sugar. But, I also don't count calories....
fiveholts714 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Yes. Give it time. I still can't eat bread or anything like bread. I also avoid steaks and things like that. I just had my first fill so I am just experimenting at this point. You will figure out what you can eat.
