bloompins@gmail.com 1 Posted February 28, 2013 I am pre-op (April 2013) and unfortunately, a lover of fine food and drink. Any post-op former foodies out there with time to help mentor someone that detests processed fake foods and anything that includes the aftertaste of artificial sweeteners? 1 Holly Dolly reacted to this
jenwattello 23 Posted March 7, 2013 I'm with you and can relate. I was banded November 28, 2012, and am down 47 lbs. I did not get fat on processed or fast foods. I ate way too much of lots of good, fresh and even healthy foods. Even tofu and vegies can be bad if you eat a ton at one time. I do a lot of recipe searching and modify ones that are too high in carbs/calories. I even eat out some, just order from the appetizer menu. It takes work, but it's worth it. I could not do this if I were eating plain chicken and vegies every night. 1 bloompins@gmail.com reacted to this
Kye43 2 Posted March 9, 2013 Hey Guys, Not sure where you're located but I'm more than happy to give you a hand. Have been mentoring for my surgeon for over 4 years so I've had lots of practice. Kye :-)
