hello to everyone

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. A big thankyou to bandayed if this makes it where i want it to go. I was banded Feb 10 2006 by Dr. Marsden and so far good. I got my second fill april 10th that has been hard some days i do just fine, but there have been somedays that i have thrown up. Until this last fill never had,really never even thought of it. I think i may be still eating to fast at times. I have done very well health and weight. I could not take any pain meds. never have been able make me sick. I have to say I did just fine without first day could have used a little help but still made it fine.

I was so glad to have found this site. There are so many ?'s you have but no one to ask them of. I can't tell you how at the (begining) just reading everything gave me the answer I needed,so a big THANK YOU!

Hope I did this ok and if did looking forward to talking to everyone.

Hi Everybody!

I'm still waiting for my insurance to get back to me. I went ahead and joined the Lapbandtalk because I am going to pay cash if my ins. does not pay so I wanted to start looking at the pros and cons of the lapband. When you go to the Seminars, they make it sound like there are no cons but the more I hear, looks like there are plenty of cons but I definitely believe that the pros will certainly out-weigh the cons. I just wish I already hand by band. I will stay in touch and see how everyone is doing. I need to lose 80 lbs. I wish everyone the best!!!

thank you everyone for the welcome it has helped so much. xena it is good you found this site because you will be better for knowing a little about what is going to happen. I just entered computer world after was banded and it has been hard not knowing anything. After found this place so many ?'s answered. I don't know if i would have gone forward if i had read everything before. I did band more to stop loseing and then gaining it all back again to start all over. That is still my hope that i will be able to keep it off after i get where i want to be.
