Try any of the Just Dance games. They give quite a workout. Love doing these with my older kids. Have been wanting to try the Zumba Wii game. Will have to look into it.

Wii has Zumba??? I have to go find that. I am thinking about starting in a Zumba class at the gym I go to, but if I can do it at home and practice...that will be great!

I've been looking into Zumba. No available classes that I can get to after work so I'm looking into doing it at home. I also have the Wii and was looking at that or the DVDs...not sure which one ill get but it definitely looks fun! And I have done the Just Dance..,I was sweating up a storm on that too!

I love dance central too! I also use the UFC fitness trainer game. I did the one month program and lost 2.75 inches in my waist that month. I was shocked at the results. I have also used and liked the EA sports active 2 game.

I do an hour plus of moderate to intense cardio at the gym 7 days a week. Bought used Xbox 360 and new Kinect. Have tried zumba and Dance game and they are an INTENSE workout. 3/4 through Zumba class the machine asked "Do you need a break?". I guess I slowed down to much!

I love my zumba classes and do them about 4 times a week at the YMCA. They also have zumba toning which I do about once a week if I can make it. In the summer time I like to play tennis, volleyball, softball, or going swimming with my kids n ALL of these are great for burning calories n having fun!

I like the Leslie Sansone Walking DVD's. I have 5 different ones. I borrowed the Zumba DVD's from a friend. I used them for a few days and could not do them any longer. Hurt my knees and back. I will stick to the walking DVD's. I also have a elliptical machine so I alternate.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
