Elisabethsew 50 Posted April 20, 2006 I felt great the day after surgery but very sore and "wiped out" on days 2-7. When I woke up on day 8, I felt really good and made a swift recovery. DAA 0 Posted April 20, 2006 I had my surgery on A Tues and stayed in the hosp for 2 days. I was pretty beat up for the first week. Week 2 I felt much better. I was able to take 2 weeks off of work and glad I did. The day after surgery I did nothing, lay in the hosp bed and walk the halls. I was in a lot of pain from cutting the muscles. dsrjrr 0 Posted April 20, 2006 The day of surgery I slept all day the next day I went home on a 3 1/2 hour ride,just made sure I took a dose of pain medicine by day 4 felt sooo much better,Now on day 9 feel good port site is sore and I do get tired quicker!! My_o_My 0 Posted April 20, 2006 The day after surgery I layed on my couch, sipped liquids, dozed, watched movies. For some reason I was wiped out, *really* taken out by the surgery. But by day 3 and 4 I was exponentially better and I was back to work on Friday (I was banded on a Monday).
