I am debating on whether or not to keep any of my old jeans because it is so hard for me to find ones that fit right. However, doing so I feel like I am saying that this is either; A) not going to wk, or B) only going to work for a little while and I don't want to have that mind set. I want to keep the mind set that failure is not an option.

Any ideas? Curious to know what other people done or are going to do.

Keeping old clothes for me is an admission that I might fail. I get rid of mine as soon as I move to a smaller size, kind of like when burned his ships to help his men commit to success in the new world.

As I go down in size I am literally throwing my clothes in the trash!! Never again will I be wearing those sizes..

28-18 so far........gone!

I don't even want to see them in my closet!

GOOD LUCK!!

If you decide to get rid of them think about taking them to a support group meeting. I am sure someone there will be able to use them.

I agree with the others. I don't keep anything from my fatter days. As soon as I move down a size they are gone.

I guess it depend on how close you are to your goal. I always kept a size or two larger than I was currently at because crap happens! I buy very expensive clothes so what could be altered was. I personally dont believe whether or not I have larger clothes in my closet is going determine my success or failure. If it was that easy, how did any of us get into double digits to begin with? Lol... As we went up higher, all that smaller clothes didn't discourage our eating habits! Lol... I definitely didn't keep any of my 22 or 24's once I got down to a size 10. But I'm glad I didn't throw away my 12 and 14 's. I had a rough year and needed them and now im working on getting out of them again. I don't consider myself a failure! My weight has never determined that!

I kept one shirt and one pair of jeans. Not because I am afraid of needing them again but so that I can compare and see how far I've come.

I had a garage sale a month after surgery and sold all my size 24-26 clothes ... I'm happy I did! :)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.

Lost my Pup last month and struggled really hard for that first month. Stopped tracking intake and slid into old habits here and there. Also quit working out. Can't walk in the neighborhood because of all of the memories we shared. Losing my Pup is the most heartbreaking thing I've ever been through. My Pup was my world 💔
Talked to my doc during my one year followup and they were not worried about my current status. They know, and I know, that I will get back on track.

I'm so sorry. I lost my pup (Mr. Bitters - a chocolate Pomeranian) 2 years ago and it still makes me tear up. He was my everything - my constant companion. I understand. Do the best you can to get back on track.
