Holly Dolly 575 Posted February 24, 2013 I was 235 and did just fine. We have the sit on top type....
wildrose1966 396 Posted February 24, 2013 Depends on the type of kayak, the get inside and cram your legs in might be tough....depends how big your legs/thighs are..............the sit on top is better. The get inside kind, you also have minimal room to bend your knees, so you do have to use your arm strength to get in and out. If it was me at my current weight, I would take a pass...........just in case. You won't sink the boat............
SueBee01 630 Posted February 24, 2013 That is one of my goals. I was 330 and always wanted too. I am down 150 lbs and am dying to try! Let me know what you decide.

This is one of the top 3 reasons I got a lapband. I want to go so bad. But I don't beleive they make a "sit-in"kayak for over 260lbs I would call the place thier renting the kayaks from first.
