Aza359 64 Posted February 23, 2013 I had surgery 2/13 not so sure how my incisions look since the tape is still on them my surgeon and lp nurse just said let them fall off but my god my stomach is so itchy is there anything anyone has been using to relieve the itch besides scratching i have been doing some unconscious sleep scratching and now have lovely scratch marks all over my stomach lol Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Destined*Lady*D 90 Posted February 23, 2013 WOW, I had surgery on the 14th and felt that itch maybe a few days later. My doc took of all the bandages except for on the port. She said to leave that for another week. As for the itch, I have been using a hydrocortisone cream and it helped with it minutes! I was so greatful. I plan on picking up some Mederma or Scar Cream today to help with the healing. If you don't have any cream right now, maybe try a low fragrance lotion to help moisten the area.
