I took a week. Everything was going well but today pain at port was killing me. I'm supposed to go back to work next Thursday.

I agree with the others, it will vary from one individual to the next. As a nurse, we do a lot of bending, lifting, etc.--guess I would evaluate your type of nursing and see if you can tolerate the daily activity you do. I went back on day 9, did ok except for some bending causing some incisional discomfort. Hope that when you do return that all goes well!! Congrats on your new journey!!
