sugiesug 3 Posted February 22, 2013 I was told to start creamed Soups, I haven't started the mushy stage yet is this accurate?
Rockstar_Jen 49 Posted February 22, 2013 It really depends on your dr. I had my surgery 2/5 and I'm already on full solids. It was 5 days liquids, 5 days full liquids, 5 days soft/mushies and then day 16 a regular diet. From what I see here it varies greatly from doctor to doctor. Good luck, I hope you're doing well. Aza359 64 Posted February 22, 2013 I was banded 2/13 just seen my nutrionist i was told to start full liquids, cream Soups and since i was already eating a spoon of applesauce in order to take my meds she said i could also have purees/mushies since nothing has made me sick but taking it slowing had some cottage cheese and a bit of avocado after almost 4 weeks of liquids that meal was amazing! ChicagoRose 650 Posted February 22, 2013 I think cream Soups are a step BETWEEN Clear Liquids and purees like applesauce, which then leads to mushies (like mashed potato?) I am going to be banded on 3/4 and I'm sure I will have lots of questions too. I can call my nutritionist or e-mail her at any time, thank goodness. Good luck! 2 Aza359 and 2muchfun reacted to this
