mickeybeyes 60 Posted February 21, 2013 I had my first fill today and almost passed out. It didn't hurt or anything but I got myself all worked up and scared. I felt so silly after laying down with a cold compress.....I am such a baby. Anyway, my question is......I am starving....is that normal? I am on clear fluids for two days then full fluids for two and so on. Am I going to feel hungry the whole time? I thought I would feel full easy like after surgery. Thoughts?? KAATNS 1,473 Posted February 21, 2013 How many cc's did you get?
catfish87 3,471 Posted February 21, 2013 Was your fill using Flouro? If not, its really just an educated guess how much restriction you'll have. ( no disrespect to the fill doc, but really it is just a guess unless they can see the restriction ) And yes, on Clear liquids, you'll probably feel some hunger. You had probably some swelling right after surgery, so that may have led to your early feeling of being "full". Congrats on your progress!
mickeybeyes 60 Posted February 21, 2013 Thanks. I had 3.5cc put in my 10cc band. Not using flour.
SageTracey 608 Posted February 21, 2013 Plus it is only your first fill so you are unlikely to experience restriction just yet. It usually takes a number of fills. But you are on your way! 1 mickeybeyes reacted to this
sapcat54 76 Posted February 21, 2013 I had my first fill today also. My PA was going to but 4cc in my 10cc band but the Water wasn't moving good so she reduced it to 3cc. Needles don't bother me, but seeing how long that needle was was a little disheartning. It bothered the people I told more than me. Good Luck on the next part of our journey. 1 mickeybeyes reacted to this
