I am pre-op, and I loved sandwiches, tacos, & spaghetti... but I have resigned to know I will never eat them again. Not so much worried about the carbs, more the fact that with such a small meal to eat why waste it on filler. Plus how do you take a sugar cube size bite of a taco?

I enjoyed whatever to excess, which is why I am here today. With the band everything changes. But that is just my opinion.

No carbs here either. I'm a carb addict too and haunt any is like opening Pandora's box for me.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
