asr2468 25 Posted February 14, 2013 Hi guys I'm 2 1/2 weeks out of surgery and today was a phase change from full liquids to soft solids. I ate over an hour ago and ten minutes ago became nauseous did anyone else have this? I ate 1 egg and a bit of cheese and didnt drink until a half hour later. Should I be concerned? Sojourner 2,446 Posted February 14, 2013 Do have any medication for nausea? If so, use it. If the nausea persists, get in contact with your surgeon or their staff for additional information. Don't forget, you're still in the process of major adjustments with your new way of life and eating. Be certain you are eating slow and chewing every bite 20-30 times. Try to remember to stay properly hydrated. I hope you feel better...fast. 1 kazjim98 reacted to this
Terry Poperszky 2,784 Posted February 14, 2013 I had minor nausea when moving to solids, I used the meds the Dr. gave me. But also checked with the nurse. It cleared up fairly quickly.
asr2468 25 Posted February 14, 2013 Thanks guys. It's passing now I guess I just really need to focus more on listening to the band. This journey has been so intense because I'm now realizing what a crazy relationship to food I had. Ill slow it down !
