CajunPrincess83 3 Posted February 13, 2013 Hello! I had my lap band placed on Friday, February 8th. It's been less than a week and I've already lost 10lbs. I was 190 and now I weigh 180.5. I feel great and am hardly ever hungry. I wonder if I get enough calories because I have had kind of a headache. Here is what my liquid diet consist of: heart healthy Tomato Soup, 1% milk, low sodium chicken broth, sugar free/low fat pudding cups and Jello, Greek yogurt, diet V8 splash, low sodium V8 juice, and lots of Water. I'm getting a bit bored with my warm liquids. Do you all have any other suggestions for Soups? I know I can have creamed Soup with milk, but I must strain it if it has chunks in it. I'm thinking about heart healthy cream of chicken and broccoli cheese. Have any of you tried those? Is low sodium beef broth good? Suggestions, please! Thank you! DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted February 13, 2013 V8 actually makes some really good cream Soups with no chunks. Tomato garden, Butternut Squash, and Potato Basil are just a few of the flavors. When I was on liquids they were a staple. Best wishes! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
anniearrr 59 Posted February 13, 2013 The headache could be dehydration. Make sure you're drinking lots. Lots and lots and lots. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
anniearrr 59 Posted February 13, 2013 Also, low fat cream of chicken is awesome, but strain it. It has bits in it. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
