Hello! I had my lap band placed on Friday, February 8th. It's been less than a week and I've already lost 10lbs. I was 190 and now I weigh 180.5. I feel great and am hardly ever hungry. I wonder if I get enough calories because I have had kind of a headache. Here is what my liquid diet consist of: heart healthy Tomato Soup, 1% milk, low sodium chicken broth, sugar free/low fat pudding cups and Jello, Greek yogurt, diet V8 splash, low sodium V8 juice, and lots of Water. I'm getting a bit bored with my warm liquids. Do you all have any other suggestions for Soups? I know I can have creamed Soup with milk, but I must strain it if it has chunks in it. I'm thinking about heart healthy cream of chicken and broccoli cheese. Have any of you tried those? Is low sodium beef broth good? Suggestions, please! Thank you! :)

The headache could be dehydration. Make sure you're drinking lots. Lots and lots and lots.

Also, low fat cream of chicken is awesome, but strain it. It has bits in it.
