If you become dependent on laxatives, your body will lose the normal sensation to go and you will have to retrain your colon when to know its time to go. brlgirl 112 Posted February 13, 2013 I had this problem and after talking to the nurse, I have increased my Water which has helped alot. She also said that when we are losing weight we aren't going to "poo" as much as before..so don't be alarmed if you aren't going but maybe once or twice a week. Have you increased your water??
