Anali11 9 Posted February 10, 2013 Quick question...when did you guys have your 1st alcolholic drink after getting the band? I am 20 days post op and down 25 lbs (including liquid diet) This week has been hectic and exciting, celebrated my 2 yr anniversary with my boyfriend and today is his birthday. Just wondering if having one glass of white wine will do any harm? Tganks for the input
medicrn 88 Posted February 10, 2013 Of course it won't. Just count those calories. Make sure not to overdo it being that soon after surgery though. Don't want to stress the stitches if you had too much and got "sick".
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted February 10, 2013 Ask your doctor because many won't allow any alcohol until a couple months have passed since surgery. Best wishes.

LadyMaggie 145 Posted February 16, 2013 A glass of wine will do the body good (sort of like that milk commercial) 1 JennyBee reacted to this
Ladybandito 516 Posted February 16, 2013 Alcohol tears my stomach up, be very careful to start with. Red wine is the least problematic for me, I no longer drink hard liquor because the time I did it caused pain and acid reflux. I don't want that for sure!
