ireallywannabthin 286 Posted February 9, 2013 I'm 3 days post op and I bought the miracle noodles and wanted to know if that would considered a mushy food. How does everyone prepare it? I'd love some recipes! I don't start Mushies for another 2 weeks but I want to be prepared.
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted February 9, 2013 Every doctor is different, but by my doctor's definition of mushy, noodles wouldn't be on the list. They'd be on the soft food list. For me, mushy meant anything baby food consistency. I pretty much put everything from chicken to chili through the blender to make it mushy so I could eat it. But again, check with your own doc because his idea of mushy may differ from mine.

ireallywannabthin 286 Posted February 10, 2013 I'm not supposed to have noodles, Pasta, or bread in any phase! Me neither.. miracle noodles are different. http://www.miraclenoodle.com/default.aspx I posted that link so you could read about them. They have no fat, no sugar, no calories, and less than 1g of carbs. Hopefully I have offered something to all of you. I am definitely going to ask my doctor about this. Thanks everyone
Instyle98 240 Posted February 10, 2013 I've seen and read about those before and wondered about them. Pasta was one of my favorite foods. I was told not to have any foods that can become Gummy because it could cause problems with my band. I know others eat those foods without any problems though.
