Steroids increase your appetite and make you blow up with Water weight. Just stick to your calories, drink lots of water, and stay away from sodium. Once you're off the steroids the water weight will be gone again fast.

unfortunately this is one of the side affects of steriods. It should resolve once you are off of them. If you are going to be on them longterm I would ask your doctor to switch you to something else. It makes you retain Fluid very badly that is why the weight gain.

The steriods were injected. 12 shots. Thanks for your input. I'm just scared of the gain. Haven't fluctuated this much since getting banded

well it will eventually stop they are wonderful drugs but the side affects are horrible

I had to be on steroids about a month ago and just started another round yesterday. I gained about 5 lbs, but it went away within a few days if stopping them. Try not to go to crazy eating... It stinks :-)
