My surgery is scheduled for Thursday, I've lost 27lbs pre-op & even though I have lost before only to regain I'm getting nervous & wondering if I could continue to lose on my own. I'm not worried about the life style changes, I've already made so many but rather the pain and possibility of complications.

Only you will know if you can continue to lose without the band? Most of us have lost and gained dozens of times and know for a fact that we need more help than just willpower.

I know that I could not have reached my current weight and maintained. But you will have to do what is right for you. No one else can make that decision for you.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
