Soft stop, did it go away?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone experienced their soft stop going away? Mine used to a be a little hiccup and I don't experience it anymore. Granted I stick to my 1 cup allotment, but was curious if others lost theirs.

Mine temporarily went away and soon thereafter I realized I needed another fill. I got a little fill recently and now my soft stop is back.

That's not to say you need a fill, but it's just my personal experience when my band no longer had adequate Fluid my soft stop was gone.

Thanks both, I was actually due for a fill last weekend, but a snow storm came through and I cancelled my appointment (not driving 45 minutes in a storm), so end of the month I have one so I may get it back :).

It's when you body has some sort of reaction to tell you to stop eating. You may think you can still keep going if your only half way done with the amount your doc told you to eat, but it is best if you don't. For example, when mine was still around, at one point, if I did a small hiccup, I knew I better stop eating or I won't feel too good when I'm done. I have heard of noses starting to run, a burp, a sigh (I thought that was a weird one, but I actually had this happen at Red Lobster once), hiccup, and that's about all of the ones I can think of, but there might be more. Not everyone experiences this either, but quite a few do.

I don't hiccup, I get a runny nose! That's my soft spot!

I had no idea that is what those hiccups were called. I figured it meant time to stop.
