vinesqueen 2 Posted April 17, 2006 Hey Gang, I'll be spending a week at OHSU next week for my Cushing's work up. Not sure where I'll be staying, other than close to the hospital. My DH is the self-designated the tour planner. I thought I'd ask for some referals for some cool things to do, maybe we could get together for something, coffee, dinner, tours of the city... I also was hoping to get some info on the bus system, since I'll be without a car. Which isn't a bad thing, given that I can't see in the dark... anymore. Anyway, I'd really like to meet up with some of the Merry Bandsters.
vinesqueen 2 Posted April 18, 2006 I'll be finished with the testing round noon, or so I'm told, so that would be a great time. More details to follow! As a coming home gift, I was given a half pound of Rwanda Blue Bourbon coffee...

ReneBean 3 Posted April 25, 2006 Hey Crystal How's the Great Northwest? A trip to Powell's Bookstore is always an adventure - and we used to enjoy another one called Cameron's. It is much smaller - but if you like to rummage - it's a great place. If you haven't tried coffee People - it's a nice alternative to the obligatory Starbuck's. Wave at a mountain for me. I haven't seen one in AGES... one thing you don't get ANY of in Dallas is Mountains. HUGS! Let us know how the whole testing thing comes out.
