Is anyone experience heavy menstrual periods .after putting the lap band ?

I have lost about 90lbs and my period did get heavier and my cramps worse. The doc says it's because my hormones are adjusting.

Mine did get heavier, but my cramps lessened. Fat in your body mimics estrogen, so losing a lot of the fat could possibly lead to a change in yiour hormone levels.

Mine didnt really get heavier i dont think but my cramps...OMG.....they got 10 times worse :/
