You guys are going to wake up before you know what happened.

I hope you have a good experience with your surgery like I did. Just make sure they give you liquid prescriptions and listen to that band! It's kinda like a really quiet back seat driver that will smack the hell out of ya!!

aeromech - LOVE the analogy I've had surgery before, and I know that feeling where you wake up & it feels like 2 seconds passed.....if that!

Did you have liquid everything, or just a liquid pain killer? I got liquid Vicodin, but the rest are pills (prescription Pepcid and something for nausea).

Liquid vicodin= liquid gold. Man I have never been so thankful for a little shot of Fluid in my life. When I'm feeling better I might try making it into a drink........ Just kidding!

I wish I had liquid prescriptions. I got a hydrocodone pill stuck on day 2 post-op and it was the worst feeling ever, had to get 1cc removed from the band.

I thought liquid was standard operating procedure after bariatric surgery. Guess not... I read another post where someone was crushing the pill down & putting into liquid.

It might have been my pharmacy that messed up. The nurse sounded surprised that I would have pills.
