A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted January 31, 2013 MsRhonda, you were recently banded and it takes many weeks for the port site to feel comfortable. You may need to find other positions to sleep in for a few more weeks until that is healed more. I had to put a thin pillow under the side of my tummy and sleep on my side for a while. However, if you are unsure or it's more than discomfort, you may want to consult your doctor's office. 2 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and PattyGirl66 reacted to this

CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted January 31, 2013 MsRhonda... how about a bigger pillow on either side so you can't roll over? I will interested in seeing what the doc has to say. Hang in there, you are doing great so far!
Maddysgram 6,159 Posted January 31, 2013 Are you waiting an hour after eating before you lay down? I agree with Chez, use a couple pillows around you so you can't roll over. I get the shoulder pain, but only when I push an extra bite of food. That pain is my soft stop. Glad you're seeing Dr soon. Keep us posted.
TKW 501 Posted January 31, 2013 I used to be a stomach sleeper. (could not sleep any other way) I feel like I am soffocating when I sleep on my stomach now. Can't do it. Not sure if it is the band or the inferno hot flashes but I have gotten used to sleeping on my back or side now.
