Sassy0822 8 Posted January 28, 2013 I'm sad. Got stuck on whole wheat toast this morning. Slimed for over and hour while driving to dr who said I would need an unfill. I get there and sliming stops. They still took out .4cc. But I'm happy bc they weighed me and I lost 22 lbs since being banded on 12/7/12. Praying to the lap band gods I never get slimed again. Very unpleasant and in attractive experience. 1 MsRhonda reacted to this
Summerrain 520 Posted January 28, 2013 I've had sliming happen with stuck episodes even pbing and once it passed was fine, the sliming is the bodies response to help push the stuck food through. Certainly taught me to take smaller bites and not eat in a hurry. 1 B-52 reacted to this
Sassy0822 8 Posted January 29, 2013 The sliming definitely did its job and pushed it through. Does a on happen on its own or do you force it?

mummajuju 77 Posted January 29, 2013 What is sliming? Pbing? As in previous post. When something gets stuck you produce loads if slime which you (I) spit out Pb'ing in short for productive burp. When things have to come back up. Not like being sick as its not passed through band. Bit like regurgitating.

A New New Dawn 1,695 Posted January 29, 2013 Many of us cannot eat breads as they get stuck. I can eat it in very small quantities and with other foods but when I try to have a piece of toast by itself it doesn't work so well. Though, having a hot cup of tea or coffee beforehand seems to help if I am really just wanting a piece of toast by itself. 1 leeshabeesh reacted to this
