Skyvic 226 Posted January 27, 2013 My surgeon did my fill last week and told me my port was tilted. I asked why it would be that way and he says that some ports do this as weight is coming off ( so close to the end). He didn't seem concerned. Should I? What does this mean? CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted January 27, 2013 Tilted is OK so long as he can still get the needle in to give you fills. Flipped means new surgery. 1 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
Skyvic 226 Posted January 27, 2013 Thank you for info. He got it in pretty easy but had to push around my stomach so that was a little uncomfortable.
hely88 883 Posted January 27, 2013 Mine is also tilted and was told not to worry but it makes fills a b***h!
LuuLuu 62 Posted February 6, 2013 Mine is also tilted. The first fill was the grossest thing I could imagine - I could "feel" the needle hitting the plastic as he poked around for what seemed like FOREVER. Since then fills have gotten easier because I remind him it is tilted. He also has me scream and yell about how much I hate fills, which distracts me and I think tightens my muscles so he can find it better. I am not sure what the other patients think of this - but it works for me!
