Call your surgeon right away. Can be incisional hernia, cyst, or Fluid pocket. I would go to ER!

I tried to get up with her, I'd go to ER but all roads are bad, it's been icing all day, I've been pushing against my stomach while decorating a cake up against by counter top, It's been tingling, it's just freaking me out!

I know the road are bad. The doctor can be reached by phone. I would call just to ease your mind. Don't get upset just check it out.

Thanks! Im not hurting at the moment it's just sore to touch, I don't think it's an emergency, I'm just trying to relax, my husband will be home at 1:00 am if I'm hurting or start having anymore problems I'll go. Thanks everyone!

Try not to wait too long and don't use a heating paid. If its a Fluid pocket the fluid will come up to a boil. I dont mean to scare you but it happened to me with a previous surgery.

Finally my dr text me back and just told me she wanted to see me next week? So she must not be to concerned? But what I know I've never had heart burn this bad! I'm taking nexium and mylanta, so I thought maybe it might be a hernia?

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
