vlp1968 83 Posted January 25, 2013 Hi all, Just wondering peoples thoughts on how often you should weigh yourself. Recently, I have been getting on the scale everyday and the flucuations were discouraging so I have decided to get on the scale just once a week and record it. That is what I did postop until I reached goal. I then started weighing myself just about every day. For a year, things were great. After that- I think it started with the holidays, I watched the scale go up and up. Gained back half the weight I lost. I feel like I finally have my act together. I have had a good couple weeks. I guess everyone needs to do what's best for them, but for me I think I will stick to once a week weigh ins. Thanks for reading. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

TracyW2 137 Posted January 25, 2013 I've been at goal for a while now and I only get on the scale maybe once a month. I judge by the way I feel and how my clothes are fitting. destynee1 417 Posted January 25, 2013 I weigh myself once a day in the morning. I don't get discouraged by the fluctuations also, but it helps to keep me on track. FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted January 25, 2013 fluctuations dont bother me so I get on the scale in the morning and again at night. I tried to do it weekly but I am way to impatient .... line-dancer 810 Posted January 25, 2013 every morning I don't want to miss the one day it does down. every doctor and weight loss plan will tell you once a week for the best results.
