Does exercise tighten the band?

I am exercising more and wondered if it could tighten the band. I am in between fills and feeling hardly any restriction. Any help would be appreciated!!

Your band is an artificial device inside your body. The only effect that exercise will have on it is a by-product of the effect of exercise on your body. As you lose weight you will lose the pad of fat around your stomach and your band will actually become looser.

I have read some people experiance this! I workout hard most days - running/spinning and have never noticed so far and I am at 6cc in a 10ml band....

It doesn't make any sence that it would get tighter like the first post said...if you don't feel restriction go in for a fill if you cant make it 4-5 hours b4 being hungry

If exercise does create some swelling in your stomach, it could be interpreted as more restriction. But it's only temporary. Eating right and getting adjustments are the key to finding the green zone.

My band always feels tighter for the first hour or so after I exercise, then goes back to normal, whatever that happens to be at the time.
