Kimber-lilly 2 Posted April 14, 2006 They still have eyes sealed shut, but now have a bit of fur, and the sweetest whiskers! They spend 99% of their time huddled in the nest, sleeping. I watched momma nurse them once--those babies are very uncoordinated! Here are some new pix!

shanna 0 Posted April 14, 2006 They're starting to look like real bunnies now. I wasn't so sure they were bunnies from those first pics. Boy, are they the cutest things. I had 2 rabbits when I was a teenager and they were so fun! Ok, where's the nearest pet store????
shellyj. 0 Posted April 14, 2006 HOW SWEET!!!! i got this a few days ago in email: He weighs in at 22 pounds and measures a little over 3 feet. he is a breed of rabbit called german giant (how appropriate!). this is his owner, Hans Wagner, struggling to hold him up. from the NY Post article: We don't feed him an unusual diet said Wagner. He goes through more than his brothers and sisters, but he eats the same food mix. His favorite food is actually lettuce. He can never get enough of it. LOOK AT THOSE FEET! Kimber-lilly 2 Posted April 14, 2006 Well! I hope that bunny doesn't come to visit any of my bunnies! Yowsa! Those feet are enormous! I have a cat that weighs about 22 pounds, but he has small feet!

paula 4 Posted April 15, 2006 Kim - they are getting SO cute! Marcus said they looked like ground hogs, LOL. Looking at the first picture of how the momma bunny makes a nest out of her fur for her babies... it makes me sit in awe at the instincts of "mothering". Neat how all female animals know how to nest their babies?! Kinda deep - did I make sense with this?
sarahv 0 Posted April 15, 2006 OK, My dd and ds have picked out the ones they each want!! They are adorable (my kids and the bunnies!!) My son also wants the Giant! LOL Thanks for sharing!!
Kimber-lilly 2 Posted April 15, 2006 Bunnies can be picked up in Northermost Wisconsin in a few weeks--it's a nice drive for any of you who want a nice bunny!

DonnaB 3 Posted April 16, 2006 I think that "giant bunny" must be a hoax. Seriously, can a bunny really get THAT big? Interesting camera angle too. Hmmmmmm. My cat weighs about 22 lbs and doesn't look nearly that big. Cute, cute, CUTE bunnies! Happy Easter all! I just went to www.Snopes.com and it confirms that this in fact a real picture of a real bunny! There are other pictures of giant bunnies there too! Amazing, and a little scary. If you want to see the other pics just go to Snopes and type 'German Giant Bunny' in the search bar. Thanks for the eye, and mind, opening pics!
