Surgery yesterday and roxicet pain med makes me sick

I need a little advice. I had surgery yesterday and the doc gave me roxicet to take for pain. But it make me so sick! What is everyone else taking and does it taste better than roxicet,

I had surgery yesterday and was prescribed Lortab elixar and phenergan for nausea. I have only taken the Lortab once because it tasted horribly and burned going down. I am now only taking the liquid tylenol. My neck and shoulders hurt and of course my stomach is tender I am using a heating pad for my shoulders and neck and it helps. I am also on steroids for swelling. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Can you call your doc and get a script for anti nausea meds? Narcotics make me nauseous too so I was given anti nausea meds that dissolve on your tongue.....Liquid tylenol is also an option but I would check with your doctor first....Congrats on your surgery and best wishes

thanks for the well wishes! I called they said well stop taking it. Switch to liquid tylenol. He didn't want to give me anit nausea meds for nausea we could stop I guess. Hohum.
