nursemedic83 22 Posted January 25, 2013 I was soooooooo hungry when I got home I had a couple of handfuls of almonds. Now I feel guilty.. And work wasn't bad but my stomach wouldn't shut up..... I guess I need to add another shake. Is this diet designed for people that don't move around alot??? I am constantly on the move I feel like a zombie....... I am going to start wondering around the healthcare asking for brains.....

nursemedic83 22 Posted January 27, 2013 Today wasn't bad... I have a really supportive husband even though he is 6'4 and 200 pounds he says he will get fit with me (as I roll my eyes) he is doing shakes and has been eating all the "good food" at work and not around me. Tomorrow I work my part time job which is on an ambulance for 24 hours.... This will be a challenge I will keep 3-4 shakes in the rig that way I'm not tempted. 1 Crystal927 reacted to this

hopeful_janna 13 Posted January 27, 2013 I start my pre-op diet on Wednesday, so I am getting nervous! I get 3 shakes a day (250 calories each) and am allowed 250 calories of low carb veggies (so no potatoes, carrots, etc) each day, for a total of 1000 calories. I am hoping I can stay mentally alert. I sit at my desk all day, but I need my brain to function! I also worry about headaches the first few days, since I am not allowed to take any pain killers during the two weeks prior to surgery.
