karanicole26 39 Posted January 25, 2013 I talked to my boss after the consultation and thankfully she is being supportive and is letting me take off as much time as needed and told me not to worry about work and to focus on the surgery and recovery. ms.sharon31 1 Posted January 27, 2013 A job can always be replaced. You and your health are far more important than a job. Besides you already discussed it with her and if she gets crazy then perhaps this job was not meant to be. You need to come first. She won't dare fire you for a medical consultation.
