Shanna H 30 Posted January 22, 2013 First, I want to congratulate you on make the decision of a lifetime to become a "bandster". Second, I can totally relate to your nervousness. I have had many surgeries and I still was nervous. It is the fear of the unknown but you will be in excellent hands. Just think, you are making a very exciting change in your life so you are probably nervous about that as well. We are all here for you and hope to hear about your journey to come. Feel free to write me anytime. xoxoxo ~ Blessings ~ 1 Crystal927 reacted to this
Crystal927 57 Posted January 22, 2013 Hey honey! I know what you are feeling and I don't even have a surgery date yet! I just got my insurance approval last week and have a class to attend prior to setting a date. And I have been having all kinds of emotions since I found out it was approved, because it is real now...its really going to happen! I've done a ton of research and reading so I'm comfortable with the changes that are coming, but girl....I have never had surgery either, I've never even had an IV!!!! I'm not scared of needles or the surgery or anything like that...its just the unknown, it will get ya! But girl, you hang in there, this time tomorrow you'll be on the other side and you'll be able to come back and tell me how I just need to calm down that its not bad at all I wish I had more to share from experience but I'm still on "this" side of it all too, but wanted you to know that you aren't alone in the vast degrees of emotions you are feeling! Hang tight, you got this!!! Just think, the life you've always wanted is about to begin TOMORROW!?!?! how exciting is that?

jennygirl37 47 Posted January 23, 2013 I was SUPER nervous too! I just had my surgery this past Friday and I was freaking out. But, it went fine and I feel pretty good. It was my first surgery too! You'll do great!!
Jewelsm1127 351 Posted January 23, 2013 I was fine all up until they were about to wheel me in. I kid you not that I freaked out on my doc and almost got up and walked out. But I did it. For me and my pain tolerance level I thought the surgery was cake! Much better than I expected. It's natural to be nervous but you will be just fine! Congrats on the big day!
