Hip2bFITT 16 Posted April 11, 2013 I have a question and need some help. My exercise from my Fit bit is not showing up on My Fitness Pal. I have checked and they are still synced. Any ideas what it could be or how I could fix it. Tell me more about your fit bit. I'm thinking about getting one.

2012 359 Posted April 11, 2013 I have a question and need some help. My exercise from my Fit bit is not showing up on My Fitness Pal. I have checked and they are still synced. Any ideas what it could be or how I could fix it. Go to MFP, then click on Apps at the top, click on fitbit, and connect accounts. I just did mine and it showed up. Let me know if this does not work. I'm 2012ALM on MFP.
Ken Pollard 31 Posted April 13, 2013 I like the app and really enjoy reading your progress and the enthusiasm to make your bad work for you. One thing that grinds my gears is how it only counts calories burned during cardio, but not strength training. Increased Protein during strength training is essential, and I feel sometimes a true representation isn't being depicted.. Just saying....

Just saying....[/quote'] Ken the calories burned with cardio is based on averages and comes up incredibly high in comparison to the machine being used and heartbeat etc. I'm in UK but bought a heart rate monitor watch. It cost me £6 and I have worn in at the gym and when it read my pulse it was nearly spot on to the actual machine reading BUT that was up to 200 LESS calories MFP would put it in as. You can use the watch between sets if weights etc too so my advice would be to get a similar device so you can put your own calories burned in x

I don't know how many calories I burn weight lifting tho so I just track it under strength but I too would like to know.
