ErinSue2000 48 Posted January 21, 2013 I am a cna and was wondering if anyone can possibly tell me how long I might need to take off work! Really can't afford to be off to long. Is there anything I can do to make the healing process go faster! O for those of you don't know what a cna is its a cert. Nurses aid I lift people of excess of 100 plus pounds day in and day out! SageTracey 608 Posted January 21, 2013 In your role you would certainly understand the importance of not going back to work and overdoing it too soon after surgery. I haven't heard of any method for healing more quickly after surgery. please take care of yourself.
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted January 21, 2013 For lifting that much weight, I would think you should wait 6-8 weeks. Definitely call you surgeon and ask.
