BLESSED43 11 Posted January 18, 2013 Well I had surgery yesterday all seemed to have went well until I took my meds oh my god I had the dry heves and I felt like I was dieing so in fear of dehydration they keep me over nite. On IV fluids the nurse called my Dr and he prescribed a suppository. I all so had a hernia the size of a baseball Im home now doing much better but for a while I was thinking what the hell had I done to my self? All so due to one nurse working last nite I had to get my self my Iv and my spd's to the bathroom so no gas pain at all..yeaa me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

general_antiope 189 Posted January 22, 2013 You won't feel anything - even when your band is tight. They don't fill you during surgery, your body needs to heal (and sometimes your stomach will get inflamed from being manipulated during surgery). After you get your first fills (4 - 6 weeks post op, depending on your doc) you will DEFINITELY feel different the first time you try to eat!
